Blog to be Sponsored by Oesterizer?

It's time for the final hurdle for the Devereaux cat herder. This week brings the last stage in the oral health project: surgery. Ouch.

Rather than dwell on the details, let's look for the upside...
  • with appropriate pain killers the 35min CNN news loop will really be "breaking news" every time
  • blog time, baby, blog time
  • in fact, Oesterizer and Ensure will be bidding to sponsor the intomysixties blog
  • great excuse to max out that Netflix membership
  • D can order the college basketball cable package, wallow in march madness and blame it on the patient when the bill arrives (You don't remember insisting on access to GMU v Notre Dame?)
  • anything you want to get off your chest? Drugs and delirium = free pass for no-guilt venting
  • communication efforts will enhance the creative side of the brain, and/or building mad skilz on the quick erase board (Russert will be jealous)
  • want to dodge a touchy subject? Pretty easy when you literally can't open your mouth.
So, yeah, it's pretty much a few weeks chock full of roses, hugs and smiles, eh?

Congrats to B on a step up and out in the job world. Charting new personal territory career-wise will no doubt be exciting and challenging. Just navigate the seas of transition and calmer waters await, right?

A little tri chatter. Even with no running since 1/6/08 (yikes) other than the latest aborted attempt, I'm getting some decent volume in over the last few weeks. Below are the weekly numbers for swim, bike, run (ha!) and core work in time and distance.
